The Himalayan Tribe Foundation is an NGO dedicated to environmental conservation and community welfare in the Himalayan regions, particularly in the Kinnaur, Shimla and Kullu areas. The organization actively participates in cleanliness initiatives across popular trekking routes such as Kinnaur Kailash, Shrikhand Mahadev, Pin Baba Pass, and Yulla Kanda. Alongside these efforts, the foundation also conducts donation drives and engages in tree plantation activities to promote sustainable development and preserve the natural beauty of these pristine regions. Their work plays a crucial role in maintaining the ecological balance and supporting local communities in these remote areas
Over the years, we have successfully collected tonnes of plastic waste from major pilgrimage sites, including Kinnaur Kailash, Shrikhand Mahadev, Yulla Kanda, and Pin Valley. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to ensure that these holy and ecologically sensitive regions remain unspoiled for both the local communities and the many pilgrims and trekkers who visit these sacred sites. These clean-up drives are not just about waste collection—they are about preserving the sanctity and natural beauty of our beloved Himalayas for future generations.
